The Family Rules
Mandatory compliance is required
* Drinking liquor, smoking, or the use of any illegal drugs is not allowed inside the home or on the premises.
* Phone calls may be received at home only.
* Phone calls made by using a pre-paid phone card with the prior permission of the head of the host family.
* Polite behavior and appropriate dress is expected in all situations. Excessive loud noises, or foul language is not allowed. Respect must be shown to the head of the host family at all times.
* Notice must be given to host family when you leave the home and upon your return. It is also requested that you advise the family if you expect to return late.
* Medicine, personal care items, or pubic services such as taxi, etc, may be requested and assistance obtained through the host family.
* Minors may leave the home only accompanied with a member of the host family or a staff member of the agency.
* Breakfast is served after 7:00 a.m. And dinner is served at 7:00 p.m.
If you do not feel comfortable with your host family, you may request a move to a new family.
Accommodation with your request is dependent on the availability if a new family at the time of your request.
Observance of rules will make your stay more enjoyable
Non-compliance with these rules may result in consequences that could vary from moving to a new family with similar characteristics - depending upon availability - - or more serious violations could result in total expulsion from the program, including all other pending travel arrangements, with a "No Refund" responsibility on the part of the agency.
Violations of the law, could put you at the disposition of the local civil authorities
